    3. Great book This was a great book on karate history It presents some good information on karate bunkai, althought it is sometimes far fetched In the last cahpter is states karate is no longer a useful art, which contridicts itself as earlier it states karate is effective It also does not strive to explain the purpose of the karate higate to pull an opponent to you while you hit them close in fighting All in all it was a great book
