Offbeat humor or at least, that s how it comes across to non Japanese people, and thus it s not to everyone s taste But Kobayashi knows cats and people well, which is why it comes off as hilarious to me This volume includes human and feline thieves, yakuza, and Catzilla, an overly beefy kitty who can be a little inconvenient on the dinner table.
