    2. I really am loving this series Lots of interesting things happened in this book with the characters and with the band in general I still related to this book but differently and not much mainly because I am obviously not in a band but that would be awesome I still really liked the poems song prayers but not as much as I did in the first book and I don t know why but I found myself just reading them really quickly and wanting to get on to the next chapter, This sometimes with other books that hav [...]

    3. This book surprised me Since I m really familiar with the author s books, I expected it to be good It was better that what I thought, though As usual her characters are three dimensional and are fun to read about There wasn t a dull character unless she made him her like that on purpose The storyline was gripping, making you want to keep reading until you were done, and then, read it all over again The reader can tell that Carlson did not just write without knowing what she had in mind Like her [...]

    4. This was better than the first one in the series My name is Chloe There was only a small reference to the friend who was interested in Wicca The girls decide to come together and start a band They then end up making it big and watching as those who wanted nothing to do with them now wanted to be their best friend It also dealt with bullies One of the main characters was being bullied by three girls and actually got beat up It was a very good book for teen girls to read about how much changes the [...]

    5. This is a really great book Well written and the characters are great The couple that I had long been waiting to get together is finally in a great spot Thought the plot was definitely worthy of a WHO DIDN T SEE THAT ONE COMING , it was still wonderful The diary layout is amazing, you get to really hear what is going on with Chloe s life by reading her thoughts literally The only problem is the author s age and the year this was written No one wears Doc Martens or bell bottoms OR says Right on a [...]

    6. The music industry plot keeps the book moving, and the band members keep it interesting They tackle date rape in this one, which surprised me a bit That s a lot for teens to deal with, but also a reality, I m sure However, that was not my reality in high school, or college for that matter thankfully It ll be interesting to see what book 3 brings I like the main theme of the story, that Chloe is sold out for God It makes me think what am I sold out for and hopefully teens will ask themselves the [...]

    7. I read the second one before the first and, I have to say it was still great I loved how when I started reading, I could relate Chloe She had so many unanswered questions about God and her religion that I had as well This series of books helped me get closer to my religion and to myself I recommend it to anybody who wants to do so as well.

    23. I didn t dislike it I m just not really feelin it.I almost feel like everything in this book is sugarcoated Carlson even covers a pretty sensitive topic, but it just doesn t have any darkness to it I mean it didn t happen to Chloe and this is her diary, so maybe that makes sense I don t know It s just like these books cover a variety of deep topics but they don t feel deep somehow Also, Chloe frequently calls herself Chloe girl when she needs to calm down or something and it annoys me It sounds [...]
