    1. I was pleasantly surprised by this novel With this being the second in the series, I was afraid of being left in the dark by not reading the initial novel However, in the beginning this novel starts out with heart pounding action and does not relent This entire novel was a thrill ride from the very beginning I really enjoyed the writing It was simple and elegant but very descriptive of what was going on around the tree elves. This story is whimsical and adds an extra layer of fun and mystery surr [...]

    3. Book 2 is a stand alone Mostly Book 1 had ended in triumph and a satisfying conclusion Book 2 starts moments later with a problem the mostly elusive villains re appear, meaner and madder and an evil plan It starts with action, kidnappings, and the quick thinking Tannenbaums have to go into full action to save Christmas The first book is soft snow gently falling, whereas this book is like a blinding blizzard, with problems galore and holding your breath action I m especially proud of the author w [...]

    6. Reviewed by Cheryl Rodriguez for Reader s FavoriteMysterious and magical, JB Michaels tailors his narrative with the same meticulousness the Tailors use to care for their trees Each word is thoughtfully chosen, each chapter builds upon the other, creating a glimmering story of adventure Year Zero provides an enticing narrative hook It is a mystifying and auspicious beginning that propels a lasting promise of hope later revealed in the story s plot Michaels is beyond imaginative he takes the read [...]

    7. Not on ku but set of books for the price of one type thing, or buy then higher individually, even though the title did stick the song in my head It will go away by the time you read all of them not sure why picture looks as if 4, pretty sure only 3 and leave you wanting From the comments I see so far, everyone seems to think it is what amounts to a book version of Supernatural, although I never read the reviews until after the book myself Got set freeE SECRET SNOWBALL THE BRETHREN OF THE SAINTS [...]

    8. I found this story entertaining and filled with surprises for the young reader It adds a bit of adventure to the holiday season and ignites the reader s imagination with unforeseen possibilities I gave this book 4 stars out of 5 because there are parts of this book around the middle and about 3 4 of the way through where the story seems to get jumbled a bit, but it all comes together at the end.

    9. After reading the first book in this series, I was excited to see that the author had written another Whilst the first in the series set the pace for future stories, this one really took off with new characters and an exciting adventure that children and adults alike are sure to love From the beginning of this story interesting events unfold and continue to keep the characters rushing to solve the mysteries until the very last page There are a lot of things about these books that make me happy, [...]

    10. The Tannenbaum Tailors and the Brethren of the Saints is essentially about elves and makes it targeted to Christmas time The font and spacing is large, so it would be appropriate for young readers Not having read the first book, I felt pretty lost when entering this story There were a lot of characters and few descriptions about what was happening who everyone was it is mostly dialogue For that reason, I feel like it might have been better as a shorter, illustrated story so that it would be easi [...]

    11. A completely satisfying conclusion to the trials of the Tannembaums I bought this for the grandkids ages 7 and 10 , but read it before giving Without giving spoilers, the Chrismas theme is deeply explored and expanded way beyond the North Pole A fresh read for this year and one to come back to annually as children ages and view Christmas with new eyes.
