    3. I love this series, but it feels like it s time to move the plot forward a bit We ve been stuck in this same storyline for a while now, and I have to say it s getting a bit old And truthfully, Quinn s side of things isn t nearly as exciting as Vincent s I hope we get books, but I want to see what happens next in their story, not read the same plot just from a different viewpoint again.

    5. Aaaaand she did it again LOVE IT I nearly inhaled it it felt so short but it isn t I love those two so so much it s ridiculous And I love the way the author uses those overlapping story sequences when she switches the point of view from one MC to the other And while she did this all along, in the first three books it was done several times within each book, whereas for these last two, she chose to start the whole book 1 with Marcs side of the story and then this one is Quentins point of view I a [...]

    6. Really enjoyed being in Quinn s head this time around We get Mann s POV in this book and about half of this book is a bit of a retelling It didn t feel so much as a retelling though because we were with Mann the entire time seeing what he was up to while Vince was off cleaning up his department The first half was OK But once we got to the second half it got so much better We get to see Mann and his mom in action I loved we got a glimpse of how deadly his family and especially how his momma can b [...]

    8. It still feels like Mark is alone, with no one will go after him if something happens Okay Quinn will, but I don t see from him a strong feeling for Mark like Mark has for him He saw that woman from Diversion shot Mark and still let her talk until she shot him again Quinn has his family, his friend DB , Gregor, who will certainly do anything for him, but what about Mark Mark does everything for people he cares for rent boys, Quinn, Portia, but I don t see any scene where they do anything for him [...]

    9. Be still my heart I m so glad there are books out about Mark and Quinn if you haven t read the Spy vs Spook series yet, you should absolutely should read it before this series.I also suggest the Light in Your Eye series right after the Spy series, before this one It s about Theo and Matheson and is well worth it.

    12. Mark That Mann 2Author Tinnean took a huge risk here in starting a new series focusing on the two MCs of her splendid Spy vs Spook series However, not only has she achieved what readers may have wanted but also she has rocked me to my core with how she s done it so far and she s not done yet Because the first two books are so intimately connected, I have once again chosen to review both of them with the same review. That s because despite the fact that Mark Vincent and Quinton Mann have come peri [...]

    13. I could read a book that is just the daily routine of this couple, and it would be a wonderful afternoon I love the characters and how they are described by the writer. And in this case there are great strides forward in their relationship the three magic words, living together and the little clues that make us think of a future fatherhood for our heroes and, even important, the stabilization of loyalty towards the lover. And I m really happy that Nigel s Manor returned to Quinn, making the fathe [...]

    15. Why do these things keep on happening to me Mann and Vincent go from strength to strength in this series with the supporting characters not just present as window dressing Tinnean knows how to write about people you will care for as well as those your hate, boo hiss To appreciate this book you must start at the beginning of the series with two men, rivals working for two different government agencies who find that they have in common than not, including the not quite accurate reputations that f [...]

    16. These books are for dedicated Quinn and Vincent followers, I do not think it is possible to read these books without reading the prequels I really enjoyed reading about Quinn and Vincent again, because we already know what to expect from Tinnean, it does not come as a surprise the way she writes the story, with each book from a different point of view Mann of my Dreams 1 from Marks POV and Mann of my Dreams 2 from Quinn POV I am looking forward to continue reading about this couple although I ho [...]

    17. The first half of this book was a 3 star rating for me, because it was a repeat of the first Mann of My Dreams book, just told from Quinn s POV instead of Mark s When the book got past that in the second half, it became much better and became a 5 star book for me I was going to just give the whole book 4 stars to round things off, but the second half was just too good for me to do that I really love Mark and Quinn s story and the books about them, the better.
