    1. Second book in the Rock Creek Six series by Lori Handeland and Linda Devlin aka Linda Winstead Jones , and comparing the first book Reese with this one, I have to say that Devlin is by far the stronger writer Where the plot and characterization of Reese was unfocused, the writing in this second installment is spot on and makes for an enjoyable day s read.Sinclair Sullivan the mysterious Comanche half breed member of the Six is in the midst of a beating when Miss Eden Rourke stumbles upon him and [...]

Sullivan is the second book in the Rock Creek 6 series by Linda Winstead Jones You do not read the series in order to understand the story, or the characters While those reading the books as a series will get a little bit from the read, newcomers will still be able to fully enjoy the story.A half breed bastard, Sinclair Sullivan knows he has no place in the world Not with white men, not with the Comanche and certainly not with Eden Rourke, the sister of one of his only friends But when Eden mee [...]

    6. I liked the first couple in the series a little better, but only marginally These two are pretty damn adorable, and I part of what I enjoyed were the interactions between Eden and the rest of the Rock Creek Six.

    11. AhhhSullivan The quiet one He was the loner in a group of oddly close men whom killed for hire The Rock Creek Six Or should I say Rock Creek five because Reese had finally settled down now.Sullivan was the product of a white mother and Cheyenne father There was quite a bit of history to his background and what made him become the man he is today At the beginning of the story he is found beaten up and left for dead by who of all people Jed s little sister Eden Rourke Well, Eden and two children T [...]

    12. I read this with a silly, goofy grin on my face the entire time It is so sweet it should have made my teeth hurt something terribly, but somehow it didn t Eden is this always cheerful, no obstacle too big, always looking at the bright side sort of character some other reviewer mentioned her being a Pollyanna and I read Pollyanna books as a kid without too much annoyance, maybe their overly positive personas outweighs my own pessimistic self and creates some sort of balance , which should drive a [...]

    13. Once again, I rally enjoyed the characters in this story and read this book so as to continue readding about the Rock Creek 6 There were some really touching moments between characters, especially Sullivan and the young boy that Eden adopted It was very touching Gripes and caveats Spoilers I was so annoyed at the way Jhed kept butting in and the H and H had to sneel around to be married It was so annoying to me This book had way too much descriptive sex make out scenes in it It makes a story ann [...]

    15. Another good novel in the Rock Creek series This story centered around Sullivan Sinclair I appreciated his character from the start and enriched him in this novel I like how he was written as a caring yet unsure hero I also liked how he was paired with Eden, Jed s sister She was an interesting heroine with a heart of gold believing the best in people A good counterpart for Sullivan I also enjoyed the children characters in this story especially Millie.

    16. I enjoyed this book much than the first one Linda Devlin s writing is better than Lori s The characters were stronger and better defined The storyline was captivating and kept me engaged from the first page The best part was no spelling errors Linda definitely has a better editor and efficient proofreaders I will finish the series because of the characters, I just hope that the next book, maybe Lori will have stepped up her game to the same level as Linda

    17. Solid 4 stars Not as good as the first in the Rock Creek Six series but there were some really good happenings in this that I loved The relationship of Eden and Sullivan was great however, I found myself both loving and disliking Eden In the end, she has one hell of a personality, I had a girl in my high school who smiled just as much as Eden so that was really funny interesting.
