    1. I received the eBook free as a review copy from the author in exchange for an honest review I still can t quite get my head around everything that happened because it was so surprising, but what I do understand without a doubt, is that I loved it It was fast paced, thrilling, dramatic and unbelievably enjoyable What really made this book though was the ending that ending just wow I can t say what happened because it would be such a major spoiler, but I can say that it had me gaping at the book l [...]

    2. Wow.When I read the premise for this book four teenagers with super powers escape from the disused mall where they ve been kept prisoner their entire lives I was intrigued What I expected was far, far different than what I got. These four kids Ever, Fox, Demi and Sin escape into perhaps the most bizarrely landscaped city since Yellow Submarine, where so little made sense that I had a hard time wrapping my head around it But I plowed on, hoping that when all was said and done, it finally made sens [...]

    3. I received a free copy of the book from the author for my honest opinion.A world where everyone is born with a gift and someone is kidnapping all the babies and carrying them to live in a mall Ever, Fox, Sinna and Demi all have ability or a gift and they are lucky that they have gotten to live in a bookstore in the mall While being kept hostage at the mall in the bookstore they have the opportunity to read lots of books and educate themselves But I don t actually think that all of the books coul [...]

    4. First, I want to thank Helen Rena for providing me a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. This book has a world all of its own Reminds me of Alice in Wonderland and Inception the movie You have to pay attention because things are different yet remain the same and always changing Yes, that is confusing but that is the way it goes. This is a world where everyone is born with gifts and nightmares are real Some gifts are coveted and children are bought and sold at birth for them This st [...]

    5. Review from A Journey Through PagesThis book is hard to review Not because it was a poorly written book, or that it doesn t work, but because it s hard to write about it without talking about the twists and spoilers The world of Into the Blind is one where in the 1950s or so I could be a bit off on the year, but the point was is that it was a bit in the past , it was discovered that children were now being born with a genetic difference that causes them to develop a strong talent Some are born g [...]

    6. I received a copy of this book for my stop on the blog tour at Donnie Darko Girl Into the Blind is a glimpse into a different world where everyone is born with a talent, and babies are kidnapped and raised by guards until they re old enough to come into their power The guards are sadistic and abusive, and I felt infinitely sad thinking about these children being bought and sold, then raised in what amounts to be a prison Sadly, child trafficking in real life does exist, and this book did remind [...]

In a world where everyone is gifted, be it in dancing, lightning bringing, or death giving, Ever is born all powerful For this gift, she is kidnapped and trafficked at birth Fifteen years later, Ever still hasn t seen even a glimmer of her powerful gift Locked in an abandoned mall in New York City, she s fighting to survive her captivity, her brutal guards, and the other gifted kids in her cell She would do anything to escape.Fox is gifted with time manipulation Like Ever, he hasn t come into hi [...]

Everyone is born with a gift, some people have a gift of dance, music or color but some people are born with the gift of nightmares, time shifting, godliness, or heart, the ability to make everyone around you feel any emotion These gifts are highly coveted by those who would like power and child trafficking has grown Ever Jezabel, Fox, Demmi and Sinna were all stolen at birth and have been locked in an abandoned mall bookstore waiting for their gifts to achieve full potential Ever is supposed t [...]

    9. Into the Blind was really quite different from anything that I have ever read The author has created this majorly screwed up world where children are sold on the Black Market for their special abilities The main character Ever was one of these babies, and for 15 years, she and three other children have been held hostage in an abandoned mall being treated horribly while their captors wait for the children s powers to develop Ever is quite special as she is blind, however, she can see using the pe [...]

    10. Writing a review without giving away too much of this book is really hard, since there are many upheavals that will make us appreciate Into The Blind who, using an English term, could be called a pageturner , one of those who struggled to put down The world in which Ever lives is particular, it has recently been discovered that every new born as a result of a genetic mutation grows with a special gift those who are born with particular grace and a great sense of rhythm is called Dancer , who was [...]

    13. Into the Blind is set in a vastly different New York, a place you wouldn t like very much From the first page until the very last page I was captivated by the story The characters are all born with gifts that they haven t yet grown into, but those gifts haven t helped them from being kidnapped and held captive by men bent on controlling the country All of the characters have vastly different personalities so I think this author has a gift for creating characters. She also has a gift for writing s [...]

Everyone is born with a gift I wonder what gift I would have been born with I think the idea is an intriguing one for sure The possibilities are endless The situation they find themselves in and how they deal with it is a good premise as well Sad, but scene setting with the kidnapping and the abuse. This book twists and turns and you can t help but follow it Many aspects can be interpreted in different ways making this book personal than some. The way you see the characters, their struggles, the [...]

The first thing that grabbed my attention was the promise of gifted people It reminded me of all the things I love about X Men I was even intrigued by the trafficking aspect as well Not often do you see that combination. From the beginning you get a sense that the world of the book operates by its own rules The dark and dangerous is thrust upon you from the first page where we see a trafficking deal go down.Read Full Review Lazy Book Lovers

    16. It takes skill to to captivate a reader to this extent and the author of Into the blind has proven that she is a master at doing just that.Does Helen Rena have the gift that she bestowed on her main character, the channeling of emotions It certainly felt that way. From start to finish I felt nailed to my seat compelled to read on, what, why, how, when were the only thoughts that went through my mind.My biggest disappointment was having reached the last page but left me with the emotion of hope to [...]

    17. A well constructed and competently written story with an original storyline The action starts immediately and draws the reader into the characters world for example, I felt the panic and claustrophobia of Ever at any time she was unable to see If there is a sequel and this book lends itself to that happening it will be interesting to see what setting it happens in outside of the mall and how Ever will use her gift.Don t be blind to this book

    19. This is the white rabbit on drugs and hate I hated the hate was contagious the ending I pushed through this crazy Alice in Wonderland tale only to be disappointed by the ending The story had hope of being great but was riddled with excess and unneeded language and scientific sexual overtones Very disturbing.
