    2. Two romances for the price of one What a deal I enjoyed the way the author developed all four of her leading ladies and gave us enough backstory to make us care about each one of them.I loved the brooding Mike with her dark past and the way the author takes her time rolling out the causes for that darkness I also loved Vivian and found it bittersweet to watch the opera star lose her vision and move into darkness just as Michaela is overcoming her insecurities and daring to come out of her cave a [...]

    3. This is one of the most enjoyable reads I have encountered over the last year Why Because of the characters and their desire to find love when some of them did not know they were looking for it Also appealing was the unlikeliness of the coupling.Coffee and music Although not a coffee drinker tea is my pleasure , I do love music and I understand how you can find yourself in a music zone The story was beautiful with enduring characters I cheered for and was sad for each of them as I rode the ebb a [...]

    4. This is a nice, sweet love story Actually, it s two love stories, and I enjoyed both couples, and how they came to know each other I m a sucker for May Dec love stories, so Viv and Mike were my favourites but Manon and Eryn were a close second The friendships between all of the women were wonderful too Music plays a secondary character in the story, and I doubt I m the only one who read the story who wished there was a soundtrack to go with it One of Gun s best.

    5. I was afraid I would not like it, because there are two main story s I m not used to that, I was afraid that it would distract me this was definitely not the case I especially liked the story of Vivian and Mike, very tingling and Hot The age difference and that they came from two different worlds, I loved Definitely a book I will read More than once Books from Gun Brooke i often read than once.

    9. Short of 5 stars because at times I felt the characters weren t quite deep enough, or that you couldn t quite grasp where something had come from or it wasn t quite developed enough Otherwise loved the entertaining two love stories and the friendships of the four women.

    11. True love is almost as hard to find in a book as it is in real life Dozens and dozens of lesfic romances try to get it right, but often fail That is why authors like Gun Brooke are so valuable to the genre. The earnest, heartfelt writing appeals to me, sometimes speaking to personal experience that cuts quick to one s very core During phys ed, when the other girls talked about their latest crush on a boy, I felt nothing Instead, there was a girl Manon smiled as if she could see her Funny, I can t [...]

    13. 4 protagonists all connected by an opera singer The author supplies generously intrigues for each character, shelling out suspense and revelations adequately And while the sex wasn t so enthralling it made up with consuming romantic interplay The name Coffee Sonata in my opinion doesn t do that much justice.but a very nice read all the same.

    14. This was a fun book Gun really created 4 distinct individual character which I fell hopelessly in love with I have been following Ms Brooke since her fanfiction days, and she always leaves me breathlessly waiting with anticipation for I ve read almost all of her books and this is one of my favorites I was a bit worried about not being able to follow a story with two separate romances going on It was nothing to be worried about I wasn t disappointed because with the mastery of a modern day bard [...]

    15. Almost 4 starsThe book is interesting The author did a good job switching among narrators though I sometimes still get a little confused and interrupted Two love stories at the same time make the pace seem kind of fast, but there is no lack of emotions On another note I like Manon Eryn couple better, these two are just too cute together.
