    1. Although Rupert is returning from Australia after a disasterous relationship, we don t find him excessively depressed or cautious He s determined to start back into his life and career at the place he left it three years prior And though Rupert doesn t plan to jump into a relationship quite so soon again, he just can t get Jake out of his mind.I enjoyed this story of Rupert and Jake slowly feeling their way into a new relationship These are real guys who have real lives, and time for romance oft [...]

    6. Nice Smooth RideThis one works on so many levels characters besides the MC s Rupert and Jake , plots and sub plots and mini plots, and just plain wonderful language There is some angst and adventure, but it s all mostly level headed and without hold your breath narrative.Rupert is a bit of a dreamer, somewhat na ve even in his 30 s, and determined to prove himself as a responsible entrepreneurial chef in his native England as he did in Australia which he has fled because of his boyfriend s pecca [...]

    8. 3.5Well written, realistic story, very British, and you get the urban setting of London and also the countryside The bad people are a bit too stereotypically bad, the good ones too god The mystery wasn t so mysterious, but I enjoyed the slow building of Jake and Rupert s relationship.
