Archie Comics is an American comic book publisher headquartered in the Village of Mamaroneck, Town of Mamaroneck, New York, known for its many series featuring the fictional teenagers Archie Andrews, Betty Cooper, Veronica Lodge, Reggie Mantle and Jughead Jones The characters were created by publisher editor John L Goldwater, written by Vic Bloom and drawn by Bob Montana They were based in part on people met by Goldwater in the Midwest during his travels throughout the United States while looking for jobs and places to stay.Archie s first appearance in Pep Comics 22 on December 22, 1941, was drawn by Montana and written by Vic Bloom With the creation of Archie, publisher Goldwater hoped to appeal to fans of the Andy Hardy movies starring Mickey Rooney Archie Comics is also the title of the company s longest running publication, the first issue appearing with a cover date of Winter 1942 Starting with issue 114, the title was shortened to simply Archie.

Rating 4.5I loved this, because I ve been such a huge fan of these comics for so long My only complaint is that I wish there were stories about Archie and the gang, as there were a lot of side stories especially the older ones, I grew up with ones like Josie or Sabrina so I enjoy those that s didn t connect with me as much But overall, a really fun collection of Archie comics from over the decades

What I love about the Archie Best of Series is that unlike the plain, non best of Archie digest issues, the stories are extra special I like almost all Archie comics but the stories here have a certain something in them I should probably cite an example but since I m not in school I just might not because really, why should I But okay, I ll try For instance, in all the years I read Archie, I didn t know that Betty had a cat called Caramel I would not have known this if I didn t read this Not tha [...]

This was a really nice collection of the best Archie comics starting from the 1940s up to the present I ve always loved Archie comics since I was a kid and I still love them I ll prolly continue collecting and have my kids read em My fave part in this book and prolly what i don t like is Archie s proposal to Veronica Things just got serious The gang s college graduation Their plans in life and then this There s this page of the actual proposal and you can just see and feel the drama there I love [...]

Archie comics are those types of books that you read just to make you laugh and feel happy I just can t believe they wrote a comic about a zombie apocalypse in Riverdale I mean really, nowadays a lot of the movies and tv shows are about zombie apocalypses and now they even have Archie comics in the whole thing But still the other comics were really funny D

    8. Back when i am much younger i used to read Archie comics and now it is still a good read The adventures of the gang was always funny and chaotic even their misadventures and failures Still one of the best comics of our time.

    9. I enjoyed this one just as much as the first one, despite the fact that there weren t decade summaries involved I think it was the diversity that was displayed this time There were longer stories, which I found I liked better Definitely worth it to me to read this one.
